Hi, I'm Keith Harrod. I'm glad you could stop by.

I love photography for a couple of reasons.

First and foremost is using photographs as a medium to express my artistic sensitivities. My favorite form is a black & white print.

Secondly, I am attracted by photography's technical aspects: interchangable lenses, f/stops, shutter speeds, ISO values, dynamic range, focal ratio, inverse square law.

Most of the images I make get edited in some way shape or form. I use a variety of software from the ubiquitous Photoshop to Photomatix Pro.

Surprisingly, a lot of the image editing we do now is just a digital version of what we did in a darkroom with chemicals and other processes in the days of film.

I get a ton of enjoyment from my photographs. I hope they give you enjoyment to.
